CAN I RENT A LANE?Yes. You can rent a lane but you are required to take our intro group lesson before renting a lane. After that you can email or text us to reserve a lane. No walk-ins.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?Xcel archery follows USA archery dress code policy: You must present a professional athletic appearance while on the field and during club activities. Closed-toe shoes are required. No torn ripped heavily soiled clothes are allowed. Leggings are allowed but must not be transparent above knees. Upper garments must cover the front and back of the body and the midriff at full draw. They must have sleeves. No camouflage clothing is allowed for tournaments.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE?You must be at least 6 years old to participate in our club activities.

DO I HAVE TO BRING MY OWN BOW FOR LESSONS?No you don't have to bring your bow. We provided you with a wooden bow for private and group lessons.

DO YOU TEACH HOW TO SHOOT A COMPOUND BOW?Sorry we do not teach how to shoot a compound bow but an olympic style recurve bow only.

WHAT ARE YOUR RANGE RULES?Safety is our top priority. Please follow our range rules and the instructions of the Xcel archery staff at all times to make sure everyone has a safe and fun time. The minimum age to participate in archery at Xcel archery is 6. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. No running allowed at any time. Proper safety gear - ex, arm guards & chest guards - must be worn. Only aim at archery targets. No dry firing allowed – never release the string without an arrow. Only nock your arrows at the shooting position. Stand across the shooting line not in front or behind. Collect arrows after everyone finished shooting. Check if the target is clear. Brace the target and pull the arrows right at the front. Carry arrows with the tips pointing down. Do not throw arrows by hand. Respect other archers’ equipment. Do not touch others’ equipment. Do not leave your equipment at the range. Xcel archery is not responsible for any lost/stolen items. No firearms allowed. Persons under the influence of alcohol/drugs are prohibited from utilizing Xcel archery range. All injuries and/or safety violations must be immediately reported to Xcel archery staff. Xcel archery reserves the right to eject and/or ban any participants they deem to be causing a disturbance and/or safety violation without refund. Always practice good sportsmanship and use common sense safety. No private coaching or solicitation allowed.
